Browser Extension

One ForkMesh extension for Chrome. It fills and saves logins from your Password Vault and links the mail you read to your organization's CRM, from a single sign-in.

Install

  1. Download the zip above and unzip it. It holds one folder, browser-extension.
  2. Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and pick that folder.
  3. Click the ForkMesh toolbar icon and sign in with your ForkMesh account. The extension keeps its own session; it never reads this site's cookies.
  4. To update, unzip the newer download over the same folder and press Reload on the extension's card.

Coming from the older ForkMesh CRM extension? It was loaded from a crm-extension folder. Remove that one and load this one: it does everything the old one did.

Password Vault

Unlock the vault in the popup with your master password. On a site with a saved login, press Fill. The extension types it into that tab only, and only when the tab's host is exactly the login's. It can also save the login you just typed and generate passwords. Keys stay in memory, lock after 15 idle minutes, and are gone when the browser closes.

CRM

In Gmail, Zoho Mail and the Mastodon instances you add, a CRM header sits above the open message and links it to a contact in one click. The popup also files any page under a contact's notes. Needs the CRM package installed for your organization.
